Three new Minecraft capes arrive with the Dungeons II launch: the Hero, Twisted and Aurora Capes. What each looks like, who can get it, and every deadline.
The Hero Cape is free, it works on Java and Bedrock, and it rewards you for a game you already played. It also has the only hard deadline in the entire Minecraft Dungeons II cape line-up — and a two-step unlock that people will get backwards.
The Twisted Cape is a sculk-themed pre-order bonus that also unlocks on Java and Bedrock. There is no redemption deadline — the gate is the launch date itself, September 29, 2026, and physical pre-orders have an extra step that will strand people.
